Not a good day whatsoever....I have so much going through my mind....busy day to top it off....plus certain people today just really pissed me off because they are two-faced....anyways....I went to see some jazz guy tonight with Sterling. It was pretty cool....their drummer was amazing.
As of right now I am really not happy with a few people so i wrote this about five minutes ago...

I went from okay to now. Not knowing that this is not what I care about. Thinking I'm right. If I move faster I will pass out. I'm feeling lucky that my hands aren't still tied down (to me pushing myself around). This is the worst and I still complain. It would make sense not to feel the same way for days. Mixed drinks for the girl and grey. More of a reason for me to stay. Too soon. More time for myself to lose (interest). I'm in this now and then. A bad mood that never ends.

So today was my second day at Syracuse I moved in yesterday. My room is huge ill post pictures of it later on this week its filled with posters pictures and what not. Everyone on my floor is awesome!! Made some friends plus a lot of people I've met play guitar or some kind of instrument and are into my music so I'm excited about that. Probably going to see Incubus in a few weeks with a couple friends from my floor should be awesome. Today was basically a bullshit day just stupid little meetings here and there then partying at night...good times. Well I'm gonna go catch up on some sleep...I'm tired and need it! |

Last night i went to KROCK's 92 cent show at Starland Ballroom. I met up with Carl and waited in line for about an hour to get in then we got in and waited another 45 minutes for the first band Kill Radio. They were pretty good. They have a different sound reminded of Billy Talent a lot.
Then came on the band i wanted to see the most My Chemical Romance. They opened with "thank you for the venom" which is my favorite song on the new album so i went nuts. But out of all the shows I've been to their I've never seen the crowd sing that loud or go as crazy at a show at starland since I saw Thursday there in April. MCR had a great stage presence and have a new drummer. I mean the drummer was okay but i don't think he's permanent i think he's only temporary. I'm a better drummer than this guy lol....seriously....but anyways after a tiring MCR set...it was time for some Coheed...
Coheed and Cambria I saw a week ago at warped tour and they didnt sound as good as the other two times i saw them....I must say last night they sounded better than any other time I had seen them before.....They played very well and the crowd was going nuts during their set as well....Overall good show was totally worth my dollar and even more than that...good times...
Today consists of gambling at Monmouth Racetrack....maybe I'll win a decent amount of cash on some horses that would be nice....

Well...haven't updated in a few days figured it was time to catch up.
On Wednesday, I went to see No Hollywood Ending at Krome...met up with Gump and we saw lim there it was a good time. NHE was awesome as always and played really well.
Yesterday, I woke up early to get to starland around 11:30 to get in line for Coheed and MCR tickets at noon...when i got there, their was a huge line...so i waited on line til about one then they announced it had sold out so people were pissed...but then the guy said everyone who is in line right now though will receive one ticket so i was happy but my friends were pissed i couldn't get them any but screw them man....they were lazy asses and wouldnt go early that what you get!
well....i've got a lot to do today...then probably cards at Stevens house should be fun love playing wit those guys.

Yes....after a very long time I have decide it is time to start updating the lj...
i go up to syracuse in 15 days can't wait...I'm really excited. I talked ot my roommate Matt the other day he seems to be really cool. He plays guitar and listens to most of the music I do which is awesome. Also I'm in a 2 person suite which is 2 big fucking rooms bigger than my bedroom I'll be living like a king for the school year.
Sunday was Warped Tour and on the way there who do I see driving behind us?!? Brian "Fucking" Lim. lol....he parked next to me and TJ and we tailgated for a while. You see I've gone to warped tour the last 5 years and it just gets bigger every year which is cool. But what pisses me off is that i see people there who i know are there only for yellowcard I mean i saw yellowcard 5 years ago at a local show i woulda told you they were gonna be big back then and now they are...but the teenieboppers man who scream during a set like little girls i just wanted to dropkick them seriously....anyways these are the bands i saw:
Started the show off with a little Rufio they were okay not as good as the last time i saw them...then I headed over to check out allister for a lil bit since no one i was playing that i wante to see I must say they're new drummer is better than their old one. Plus they played a new song which was totally kick ass its so much better than their other stuff. After them i went to get some food and I'm sitting in line waiting this girl in front of me picks up her soda then all of a sudden drops it and like passes out and falls down her friend caught her and she and I helped her up then she started buggin out like having a seizure then the EMT's came...god I hope she was alright...
After some good food I got a great spot to see perhaps one of my favorite bands Thursday...I saw them last sunday at curiosa and they played the same exact set haha....but they also played jet black new year which was cool....some girl was crowd surfing and fell and broke her leg during their set wasnt a sight to see....but, thursday...wow I love that band nothing more I can say they are just amazing live...Geoff Rickly is my hero!
For the next 2 hours i kept running back and forth from main stage to main stage....right after thursday i went to check out story of the year...they were okay nothing special though....when i saw them at birch hill they were a lot better..then i headed back to catch Coheed and Cambria..I love this band....I remember seeing them at birch hill 2 years ago before they got big they are an amazing band and when i first saw them Claudio had short hair i don't think he's cut it since....After that set I ran back to see NFG and i gotta say they suck live now big time I used to love them now I really think they suck....lol they're singers voice cracked so much during the set it wasm hilarious...then after all that mayhem i headed back to see my boys in Sugarcult...I met this band like 4 years ago at warped tour when they played a very small stage and they had just started out they are really cool guys great musuicians....theyre set was awesome and the crowd really got into it...I was impressed..then it was time for some 2-stepping so i headed over to see the bled....all I can say is holy shit....amazing band....sickest pits....Ben Doda was in and he got fucked up his shirt was covered in blood....then after the bled were off i hung around to catch the band i was most anxious to see...UnderOath. This band is amazing....the whole band goes nuts while playing and doesnt miss a beat...saying that this band is great is an understatement....can't wait to see them again....after that set I needed to collect myself I was tired so i went and sat in the bleachers saw joe cirillo there it was good to see him again.
It was almost seven so i head over to catch my favorite band in the world Taking Back Sunday...they were the best band i saw all day live....their singer has improved a lot now he sings much more live than he used to so they sound better live. The played oldies like Timberwolves at new jersey, great romances, and cute without the "e", they also played like 5 songs from new album. The new album I think is pretty good maybe not equal to the last one but it has its points where its better than the old TBS. I can't wait to see them again....now my day was nearly coming to an end and I went to see yellowcard...I was thoroughly dissappointed in them. Out of the 10 times of seen them it was the worst set i've ever seen them play i just couldnt get into them like usual and they didnt sound that good on the pa this time which is awkward i think the sound at the stage they were at was fucked up....But overall warped tour was amazing i had a great time. Supposedly their were 24,000 people their which is awesome can't wait til next year's.
Now that my book on warped tour 2004 is done .... I must leave you... haha...but I promise from now on I shall update daily....
I am back and better than ever hahahahahahaha... No Hollywood Ending on thursday is anyone else going???well you should be! |
